Bank of Georgia Expands International Banking Relations with Standard Chartered Bank

Bank of Georgia has established a correspondent banking relationship with Standard Chartered Bank, a leading international financial institution. The new partnership will strengthen Bank of Georgia’s international transfer capabilities and help it offer more efficient banking services to its customers.

Standard Chartered Bank has extensive experience in international payments, trade finance and transaction banking. The opening of a correspondent account will enable Bank of Georgia to strengthen its international transfer infrastructure, improve transaction processing and offer more flexible services for cross-border financial operations.

These improvements are particularly relevant for customers who make payments to foreign partners, manage import and export transactions, or conduct international trade.

The partnership with Standard Chartered Bank forms part of Bank of Georgia’s continued expansion of its international banking relationships and its efforts to give customers greater access to global financial markets.
