Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank Show Interest in Buying Georgian Post
Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank are interested in buying Georgian Post, Georgian Post’s director general Levan Chikvaidze noted when commenting on the company privatization issues.
Foreign companies have also expressed interest in our company. We have been working on developing strategic partnership with TBC Bank, he added.
“The process is underway. We are working to privatize Georgian Pot as soon as possible. We launched the company commercialization for further privatization in 2013. Bank of Georgia, TBC Bank and several e-ecommerce companies are interested in buying Georgian Post”, Chikvaidze said.
He did not name an exact period for privatization and noted the auditing process must be finished and the company value will be determined after this.
