Company Telavi Wine Cellar to Open a Chateau Next Year

The company "Telavi Wine Cellar" expands the direction of wine tourism.

Zurab Ramazashvili, the founder of the company, told "Business Partner" that a chateau (without a hotel) facility will be opened on an area of ​​7 hectares, and the investment cost of the project is about 0.5 million dollars.

"We are using a pandemic and we are doing the project calmly and peacefully. We think next year, when the tourist season opens, we will be ready to receive visitors," Ramazashvili said.

According to him, special infrastructure will be arranged on the territory of the wine factory in Telavi, where tourists will have the opportunity to taste wine. Guests will have the opportunity to spend the whole day in the chateau and at the same time visit the cellar.

According to Ramazashvili, this year the company was able to cultivate 22 hectares of vineyards.
