Chiatura Wine Solomone to Export to the US and England This Year

Davit Chachanidze, founder of the wine company Solomone, told notes that the pandemic had reduced the company's local sales, but that sales in the international market, including France and Germany, had risen by about 5%.

"Solomone" cellar is located in Chiatura, Lejubani. The vineyards are cultivated on an area of ​​3 hectares, in the future it is planned to increase the area to 10 hectares. As for the cellar, it is estimated to produce 55,000 bottles per year, at this stage the annual production of the company is only 15,000 bottles.

According to Chachanidze, the company is actively working to explore new markets. Among them, negotiations are underway with the US and England. The company currently produces 4 types of wine.

According to Chachanidze, Georgian wine "Solomone" was sold in Singapore a few days ago on the global wine blockchain platform.
