Two Duty Free Zones to Set Up at Kutaisi International Airport

In the auction announced by the United Airports of Georgia for the purpose of setting up a Duty Free shop at the Kutaisi International Airport, ATU Georgia Ltd. won with 97 bids. The contract with the winning company was signed by the director of the UAG Tamar Archuadze and Ahmet Kötehne, Chief Strategy Officer of ATU Duty Free. The term of the agreement was set for 7 years.

According to the UAG, two Duty Free zones will be organized at the Kutaisi International Airport.

ATU Duty Free offers services in 21 airports and 1 cruise port in 7 countries. The company owns more than 110 stores, including 20 premium brand stores at Istanbul Airport. It also offers Duty Free services at the airports of Macedonia, Latvia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
