Revenues from Tourism in Georgia Decreased by 96.7%

There is a sharp decline in revenues from tourism. In June, the country earned only USD 11.2 million from tourism, an annual decline of 96.7%.

The number of visitors has decreased by almost 96%, which shows a downward trend since February. Against the background of the pandemic, number of visitors decreased by 67.3% in March, by 95.2% in April, by 94.7% in May and by 95.8% in June.

As for revenues, against the background of closed borders, revenues from tourism in 6 months are 456.5 million dollars.
