Lopota Spa Resort Unveils Expansion Plans with New Hotel Building, Jazz Club, and Aqua Park

Lopota Spa Resort, a prominent leisure destination, is set to unveil an expansive new project in June 2024. Maka Ghligvashvili, the resort's Commercial Director, discussed the upcoming additions with Business Partner.

The resort's expansion includes a luxurious hotel building comprising 80 premium-category rooms, an aqua park billed as a first-of-its-kind in Georgia, and a cabaret club - a novel addition for both the resort and the Kakheti region.

"We're embarking on ambitious and large-scale projects. The construction is underway, and this year we're excited to introduce a new hotel building along with a unique aqua park. The cabaret club, a regional first, will be a versatile venue for various events, offering our corporate partners an exceptional space for their gatherings. We anticipate considerable interest in these new amenities, set for a grand opening in June 2024," shared Maka Ghligvashvili.

Located at the rear of the hotel area, these new facilities will extend over the resort's vast 60-hectare grounds. While Ghligvashvili didn't disclose the investment figures for the project, he did note that the expansion would create 50 new jobs, supplementing the resort's current workforce of 400, which expands to 450 during peak season.

Lopota Spa Resort, operational since 2006, is situated near Lopota Lake in Kakheti. It stands as one of the pioneering resort-style hotel complexes in the region, offering a blend of relaxation, luxury, and unique experiences.
