Kutaisi-Rome Direct Flights to Renew from March 28

Kutaisi-Rome direct flights will be renewed from March 28th.

Flights will be operated once a week by the low-cost airline Wizz Air. According to the Georgian Airport Association, consultations with the airline are underway to add pre-pandemic European destinations and increase frequencies.

"As a result of consultations with our strategic partner Wizz Air, the airline will resume flights between Rome and Kutaisi at the beginning of the summer navigation season. Initially, it will operate flights once a week, however, the frequency of flights will most likely increase during the summer season. Currently, it will be possible to get directly to the two Italian cities of Milan and Rome from the Kutaisi International Airport.", noted Tamar Archuadze, the director of Georgian Airport Association.
