First Post-Covid Rehabilitation Program Launches at Resort Nunisi

The first post-covid rehabilitation program will be launched in Georgia at the resort Nunisi. The program, which will be based on the experience of Swiss rehabilitation centers, will be led by Professor Leri Lapanashvili.

The post-covid rehabilitation program provides both a rehabilitation and recreational course and will last approximately 7 or 14 days. The first patients will be admitted to Nunisi Resort from March 1. During this period, patients will be provided with accommodation and three healthy meals a day.

As Nino Pavliashvili, the head of the management company of the Nunisi resort, told Business Partner, the cost of a one-week course for one person, including accommodation, medical unit and food, will cost from 700 to 800 GEL. The resort will be able to receive 20-30 patients.

"Apart from the medical part, which will be headed by Leri Lapanashvili, the key moment in this program is fresh air. There is no car access to our resort, those who want to cross our territory can use a ropeway, which prevents the entry of exhaust and polluted air into the resort area. At the same time, the climatic conditions help us, because the resort is completely surrounded by mixed forests, ”said Nino Pavliashvili.

Those wishing to undergo a post-cohabitation rehabilitation program will first contact Professor Leri Lapanashvili and undergo a diagnosis at the Marji Clinic, after which they will be referred to the resort of Nunisi.

The post-traumatic rehabilitation program includes optimizing blood circulation, relieving the heart, replenishing the body with oxygen, strengthening the immune system, restoring muscle tone, and balancing the vegetative system.
