Famous Ukrainian Program "Orel i Reshka" Filmed in Svaneti

The famous Ukrainian TV show "Orel i Reshka - Wonders of the World" visited Georgia once again. This time Anatoly and Vasilisa visited Svaneti. They were hosted by the Georgian Airports Association.

According to the script, the participants of the show, who arrived in Georgia as tourists, had to travel to Svaneti by various means. The filming took place at the renovated airport of Kutaisi, from where hosts traveled in the direction of Mestia. The rich participant left by her own plane, while the poor participant had only $100 took a minibus from Kutaisi to Svaneti.

"Georgia is a country with a special hospitality. We will go to Svaneti, the most colorful part of it. Our wonders today are the mysterious Svan towers," the presenters said at the beginning of the adventure show.

The adventure genre program airs once a week on Novy Channel and also broadcasts in Russia on the FRYDAY TV Channel. "Orel i Reshka" has a total of 70 million viewers. It has received awards for Best Entertainment Show in 2014 and 2016. Also, the highest television award in Ukraine is the Triumph.
