Construction of New Boulevard Along Kobuleti's Coastline Underway

Infrastructural work underway in Kobuleti-second phase of coastline rehabilitation launched.

Work involves the renovation of a 2-kilometer coastline park strip, with part of work already finalized.

The following activities are implemented under the project:

Decorative tiling along the pedestrian walkway and traffic area;
Installation of modern outdoor lighting;
Revamping of underground communications;
Coastline rehabilitation;
Installation of infrastructure adapted for persons with disabilities.

In excess of 4 million GEL allocated to finance the works.

Phase one of coastline rehabilitation was finalized last year, with an 850-meter strip renovated and revamped.

Alongside coastline rehabilitation, the renovation/revamping of crossings between Rustaveli and Aghmashenebeli Streets and surrounding areas is underway.

The project seeks to put in place underground communications and decorative tiling and curb cladding along the sidewalks, traffic areas. Also, a green strip will be arranged, and an outdoor lighting system will be installed. Benches, pergolas, and children's attractions will be installed.
