Construction of 5-Star Hotel Near Sioni Lake Begins with the Investment of $40 million

At the meeting held on August 29, the Government of Georgia discussed the draft of the Decree of the Government of Georgia on "Implementation of a number of measures to promote the activities of "Sioni Lake Resort & Spa".

As Ilia Tsulaia told BM.ge, the company ''Sioni Lake Resort & Spa'' has already received permission to set up a hotel complex near Sioni Lake, and preparations for construction works have already started.

"Getting the necessary permit for the construction of the hotel took a long time because it is a new area. We got the permit just recently, the territory has been fenced off and preparatory works have also started," explained Ilia Tsulaia.

A 5-star hotel will be launched under the name of "Dialogue of Sioni" and the investors plan to bring an international brand into its management.

"We are conducting negotiations with the international brand managing the hotel, and after that, we will be able to say which company will enter the management.

Taking into account that the hotel-recreational complex is planned to be built on a rather large area and we will offer various services to the guests, the project will be able to employ up to 300 people after its implementation", says Ilia Tsulaia.

According to him, the company's shareholders are implementing the project with their own and the bank's support, and its investment value is up to 40 million dollars.
