Student Startup KIKLIKO Creating Voice GIFs Awarded GEL 5,000 Grant from BTU

The winner of the Student Startup Grant Competition organized by the University of Business and Technology revealed: The startup KIKLIKO received the highest approval from a commission composed of representatives of 7 different organizations and was awarded a GEL 5,000 grant from BTU.

The winning project KIKLIKO includes voice gifs that can be used on various internet platforms.

"We have been working on a startup idea for a long time, we are a very experienced team and we believe that this project has great opportunities. Since I am a BTU student, we were given the opportunity to take part in the competition, which was a pretty good experience. Thank you to all the members of BTU and the jury for taking care of the development of the startup industry and the students, and for creating similar opportunities, ”said Salome Merebashvili, a representative of the startup KIKLIKO.

The winners of the commission members were awarded various prizes along with the winner: the startup "Stumroba" received 2,000 GEL from the representative of Shark Tank Georgia Katie Kvartskhava; Wempler was invited by Axel to Georgian Angel Investors Network to a closed pitching day to raise pre-seed smart money, and Tech up startup Georgia delivered $ 6,000 worth of digital services.

The Student Startup Grant Competition Commission was composed of representatives of such organizations as: MIT - Anna Eckhoff; GITA - Mariam Sharangia; Globalize - Salome Kukava; Shark Tank Georgia - Keti Kvartskhava Startup Georgia - Lasha Gorgoshidze; TBC - Anka Totibadze and Startup Buro - Guri Koiava.
