Participants of the 150,000 GEL co-financing grants program are preparing for the final stage.

According to the information of the Innovation and Technology Agency of Georgia, they announced the 150,000 GEL co-financing grants program on August 17, 2022 for the ninth time. In 2022, the volume of the co-financing grants program increased from 100,000 to 150,000 GEL, and within the eight rounds of the mentioned program, a total of 155 startups were financed. In the 9th round of the program, a total of 207 applications were submitted, of which 51 startups moved to the final stage.

Within a week from today, trainers invited from Silicon Valley will prepare the contestants for the final stage, to be presented before the Investment Commission, especially for this program:

Gail Christine Gannon - Managing Director of Wave Edge Capital and Founder of Ensanté LLC. has 15 years of experience in mentoring startup entrepreneurs; Helps companies turn a special idea into reality, correctly define the target market, obtain grants and convince investors. Gail Christine Guenon holds an M.A. from Harvard University - T.H. Chan School of Public Health; He regularly participates in international conferences and investment forums in the field of biotechnology and digital health.

Gideon Marks - Co-founder of DogLog, which makes it easy for pet owners to take care of their pets. He is also a head of technology companies with experience in business, finance and corporate development. Gideon has made many successful investments in startup companies.

Ben Connors - Strategy Director at Acenda and member of Harvard Angels. Has experience working in global technology companies in the direction of sales and marketing, is a business development consultant, and has 10+ years of experience in mentoring startups.

The winners will be announced on December 4, 2022 - startups who will have the opportunity to make their company more successful and be able to take the product to the global market.
