Craftroom: Handmade Accessoires Brand Plans to Create Art Therapy Space
The handmade accessories brand Craftroom plans to host workshops in the future.
According to Mariam Neparidze, the founder of the company, Craftroom will move from an online space to a real workshop for art therapeutic purposes.
"I have a great desire to have a shop and a workshop. I managed to start all this completely independently, just with an idea and my own minimal finances. In the future, if I decide to expand, I hope to get funding for it. I am constantly having new ideas and trying to find ways to implement them.
From childhood I was fascinated by creating various handmade items, although I always did it for my own pleasure. People started to express interest towards my items. So I decided to create a Facebook page where I would have a wider audience. We offer customers a wide variety of choices: dream catchers, jewelry, notebooks, cell phone cases or various accessories. Rarely do you come across the same items. Although Craftroom-like accessories were made before I started, I think that my items are still distinguished by their quality, color, and the emotions embedded in them, ”said Mariam Neparidze.
Craftroom items are designed for both women and men. The products are sold online through social networks and are available throughout Georgia. The company does not plan to enter the market of other countries yet, but the interest from tourists is great. Handicrafts were also on display at one of Berlin's markets.
"The creative process begins in nature. It's not just about collecting plants as material. I get mood, patterns, compositions from nature. Then I go to the workshop loaded with all this and create different items. As I mentioned, I hope I will have more opportunities to implement my ideas, ”said the brand founder.
