"Manuscripts Reveal the Hidden" Exhibition in Netherlands

Embassy of Georgia hosted an exhibition "Manuscripts Reveal the Hidden" on February 17th in Netherlands.

The exhibition was about #Abkhazia jointly initiated by the Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts and the Office of the Minister of Justice and Civil Integration Issues of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

Zaza Abashidze, Director of the National Center of Manuscripts presented the project to the public. The event also featured the presentation of several books on Abkhazia, including works by Guram Odisharia and Jemal Gamakharia. Representatives of the New York Center for Georgian Culture - young people, who represent the second generation of Georgian immigrants, offered their performance.

Representatives of the Parliament of Georgia, the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and the Supreme Council of Abkhazia attended the event together with the other guests.

The event was held in the margins of the project “Diasporas for united Georgia – the role of public diplomacy in Georgia-Abkhazian relations”. The project was organized by the fund “Diaspora Alliance for Georgia” established by Ms. Tika Svanidze.
