Gallery 4710 Present the Group Exhibition Echoing Green
Gallery 4710 presents the group exhibition "ECHOING GREEN”, which includes works of different generations of Georgian artists. The central line and the meanings that this color stands for are green.
In addition to reflecting on the ecology, green is a symbol of life and renewal. The concept of renewal, along with ecology, is one of the most important ideas of recent times.
By bringing together the works in different mediums, by different generations of Georgian artists, we will try to show not nature as an independent organism, but how the artists are echoing it.
Although the concept of Gallery 4710 is focused on emerging artists, the exhibition "ECHOING GREEN" is a different case, where one exhibits different generations of Georgian artists.
Natela Iankoshvili and Tamuna Sirbiladze, who are rarely seen in Georgian contemporary art spaces, Thea Gvetadze and Gio Sumbadze, who occupy an important place in the Georgian contemporary art scene, Tamar Nadiradze, Nika Kutateladze, Keta Gavasheli, and Andria Dolidze - artists emerging Georgian art are the ones who present a group show at 4710.
We want to thank William Blake for our exhibition title which we took from his 'Songs of Innocence and Experience'.
The exhibition will open on Saturday, May 29, and run through June 27.
