Future Agro Challenge Georgia to be Held in Tbilisi

Future Agro Challenge is the largest global initiative that discovers fundable food, agtech, agrotourism, and agriculture innovators and agripreneurs from around the world.

Organized by Tbilisi Startup Bureau and GITA • Tech Park, Future Agro Challenge Georgia will take place again in the city.

Innovators, people interested with agritourism and agriculture, agropreneurs will be united together via online platform on April 25-26th.

The Georgian National Championship will take place online on April 25-26.

Agro Logistics // Agro Tourism // Agroforestry // Animal Protein // Animal Husbandry // Dairy Alternatives // Drones and Robots // Education (Food/Agriculture) // Farm Management Software // Farmers Incomes // Food E-Commerce // Food Preservation // Food Science // Food Traceability and Safety // Health and Wellness // Indoor Agriculture // Manufacturing // Warehousing // Marketplaces // Material Science // New Farms // Nutrition // Packaging and Design // Precision Agriculture // Predictive Data Analytics // Sensors // Smart Irrigation // Snacks and Beverages // Waste Technology

One can participate in the Georgian National Chempionship, if team exists no longer than 5 years, has an innovative or scalable business idea or model in the agrifood innovation sector (ranging anywhere from farm to fork), can transform a community, a nation, a region, or have global impact, has a Minimum Viable Product, has a clear business model and customer segment, has received market traction and has unique, strong and applicable technology or innovation.

The chosen applicants will be invited to participate in a two-day online bootcamp on April 25-26 or to directly pitch at the finals on April 26, where the national winner will be selected among the bootcamp participants and finalists.

The National winner will receive 2000 GEL monetary prize and gain access to world class mentors, investors, potential clients, and new market opportunities at the FAC Global Championship, a highlight event at the Global Agripreneurs Summit in Thessaloniki, Greece, on October 1-4, 2020.

The 2nd Place winner will receive 1000 GEL monetary prize.
