Valeri Chekheria, chief adviser of Zeze Hospitality and founder of Hospitality Projects company, member of Young Global Leaders world economic forum has already started working as a consultant to Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava.
As Valeri Chekheria told Business Partner, the working process is underway on the concept of PR campaigns to be implemented in the neighboring countries, where regulations are lifted and that gradually amid active tours, including Israel, Dubai, and so on.
As noted by Chekheria, active campaigns will be held in the direction of mountain and sea resorts. “We will provide active jobs in the direction of conference parts, the so-called MICE tourism to bring specific projects. I plan to actively cooperate with the UN Tourism Organization and use the resources that we have in the face of Zurab Pololikashvili. This will be the first step. Indeed, we will provide further job with the Tourism Department and the Economy Ministry to implement our plans as soon as possible”, Chekheria noted.
“Simultaneously, we will develop both short-term recovery plan and long-term development strategy. The starting point all over the world is the same and every country tries to percept tourist inflows. Therefore, we cannot follow short-term and long-term strategies separately. We have to take efficient steps in a parallel regime. The objective of these campaigns is to maximally popularize the country that is ready to host tourists with ready infrastructure and amenities and anti-COVID standards. We should persuade them that we represent the country where they should not hesitate to arrive for holidaymaking”, Valeri Chekheria.
