Prime Minister: Roadmap will Help Resolve Current Economic Challenges
Georgia is a leading country in Eastern Partnership, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze noted at the news conference, which was held after the EU-Georgia Association Board meeting.
At the meeting the Georgian delegation introduced a government roadmap for Integration in EU and for consolidating our reforms along with all cooperation instruments to advance and accelerate Georgian’s European integration.
“Today we have introduced the document to our friends that calls for enhancement of Georgia’s integration in European structures.
Georgia is a leading country in Eastern Partnership. Ten years ago, when we started implementing the first project of Eastern Partnership, this was a genuinely historical fact.
Georgia has successfully implemented the mission and there is more opportunity to continue integration process with focus on specific sectors.
Today we started consultations and discussed details. This roadmap will help consolidate democracy in Georgia, take our success to a new degree, resolve economic challenges and successfully complete structural reforms, especially in education sector. I believe the mentioned document will help our society learn how Georgia is being developed and what progress the country is making for European integration”, the Georgian Prime Minister noted.
