Modern Transport-prophylaxis Center Opened at Kutaisi International Airport

"It is important that the modern transport-prophylactic center near Kutaisi International Airport was built during the pandemic. 2 million GEL was invested in the project. The center employed 30 people. It should be emphasized that such a center has been established where there is a great potential for development, "said Akaki Saghirashvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, who attended the official opening of the modern transport and prophylaxis center of Pocket Mechanics at Kutaisi International Airport.

Together with the Deputy Minister, the center was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi Irakli Karkashadze, the Mayor of Samtredia Municipality Valerian Potskhveria and the Executive Director of "GB Holding" Shalva Khutsishvili.

After the presentation, the guests visited the center equipped with modern technologies, where it is possible to diagnose and repair all types of vehicles, including special equipment for the development of the region's infrastructure and agro sector.

"The opening of the center near Kutaisi Airport was not really accidental. Our holding also unites the passenger transportation company "Georgian Bus", which has been cooperating with Kutaisi International Airport for 7 years. When the whole world returns to normal life and Kutaisi Airport continues to work as usual and we will serve the passengers, all buses of "Georgian Bus" will pass the inspection in this service center. Security, as it was before, will remain a priority of our activities in the future," Shalva Khutsishvili said.

According to the CEO of "GB Holding", the center will be able to serve all types of vehicles - minibuses, buses, special equipment, trucks.
