Mask-Wearing Remains Mandatory in Public Transport and Health Facilities

From today, wearing face masks is only mandatory in public transport and health facilities.

According to the prime minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, the epidemiological situation in the country allows the government to lift the restrictions.

"We have a very stable picture in terms of COVID. For instance, we only had 51 cases today. This allows us to further lift the COVID-related restrictions. People are no longer required to wear face masks apart from public transport and health facilities.", Irakli Garibashvili noted.
