Israeli Airlines to Resume Flights to Tbilisi and Batumi
In September Israeli Airlines will resume flights to Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports.
IsrAir will perform four flightს from Tel Aviv to Tbilisi and 7 regular flights from Tel Aviv to Batumi.
Arka airline will resume flights to Batumi International Airport. The company will perform regular flights form Tel Aviv to Batumi up to November 2021. As reported, the Israeli airlines suspended flights to Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports after the Government of Israel included Georgia in the Red List of countries. As an affiliated company of Airport Holding, TAV Georgia entered Georgia in 2005 to stay up to 2027 under the contract.
Having invested $220 million in Georgia, the company launched new passenger terminals at Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports in 2007. Furthermore, the company fully rehabilitated the existing runoff and built a new arrival terminal in 2016-2017.
