Government Transfers 200-GEL Assistance to 72,175 Fired Citizens

As noted by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, the 200-GEL monthly unemployment allowance has been already transferred to 72,175 citizens of Georgia who were sacked amid the pandemic.

The 300-GEL assistance has been also remitted to 52,151 citizens self-employed citizens, who have lost their job places, the Prime Minister noted.

“After May 25, we started enforcing the 1200-GEL social allowance program for 72,175 citizens. These people have already received due amounts. Furthermore, we have transferred the 300-GEL assistance to 52,151 self-employed. A total of 194,791 citizens with 65,000-100,000 rating points have already received social assistance”, the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia noted.
