Government to Pay Monthly 200 GEL Unemployment Allowances for 6 Months

Employed citizens, who lost job places or were given unpaid leaves amid the state of emergency, will receive monthly 200 GEL unemployment allowances for 6 months.

Thus, each beneficiary will receive total of 1200 GEL for 6 months.

The statement was released by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia on April 24.
