Government Announces New Auction of State-owned Companies with 25-50% Discounts

The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia continues the accelerated privatization of state-owned companies. Now, the Government has announced the 4th auction as part of the 100 Investment Offers to the Business state program.

This time, the National Property Agency has put out state-owned properties worth GEL 90 million, including 54 agricultural lands and 6 state-owned companies. “Notably, 89 properties will be sold with 25%-50% discounts. The privatization process will be maximally transparent and open. Users have the opportunity to participate in e-auctions without any bureaucratic procedures and own state assets in the shortest period.

The agency plans to continue the accelerated privatization process in the future too. New investment packages will be added to the existing privatization map”, the agency’s statement reads. Additional information is available on the website: https://bit.ly/32WNZ5d
