Global Compact Network Georgia held the “Business4SDGs -Multi-Sectoral Partnership and Access to Finance to Achieve the Sustainable Development Agenda” forum.
The event was opened with welcome remarks by Salome Zurabishvili, the Executive Director of Global Compact Network Georgia.
Irakli Beridze, the Head of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at UNICRI, United Nations spoke about the AI global adoption- policy and innovation.
In the first panel, the representatives of International financial institutions - EBRD, USAID, and ADB presented their grant opportunities, available for the private sector companies.
The second panel allowed Georgian banks to speak about their partnerships with IFIs and opportunities within these projects for Georgian companies.
The second panel discussion also featured information about ESG taxonomy, provided by the National bank of Georgia.
The event was attended by the representatives of donor organizations, international financial institutions, and the banking sector.
