The head of the government notes that Georgia is ready to implement all the priorities to get the status of a candidate country soon.

It should be noted that the Council of the European Union has granted Moldova and Ukraine candidate status, and the perspective of becoming a candidate to Georgia. As the President of the Council Charles Michel noted, if there is political will and appropriate political background in Georgia, then there will be progress and Georgia will also receive the status of a candidate for membership.
"The Georgian government knows very well about all the necessary steps, They must show the free world that they share the same principles," Michel said.
