Georgian Economy Grows by 9.9% in July

Following the 18.7% upturn in June, the Georgian economy grew by 9.9% in July.

According to Geostat, the national statistics service of Georgia, in the January-July period the economy has increased by 12.2% on average.

As compared to the same period of 2020, the following industries have grown in the reporting period: finance and insurance industries, the processing industry, the fields of hotels and restaurants, transportation, and trade. Meanwhile, the economic downturn was recorded in the development and mining industries.
