Georgia Received $5 Million in Beer Exports in 2020

In 2020, beer exports from Georgia increased. If before the pandemic, in 2019 the country earned $ 3.4 million by exporting 4203.3 tonnes of beer, while revenue by exporting beer by 2020 was $5 million (5492.6 tonnes). Therefore, export growth was 45.1%.

According to the official statistic, beer export exceeded the volume of 2018 last year, when 4,351.9 tons of beer worth $ 4.3 million were sold in various markets from Georgia. The increase is 15,7%.

Exporting countries for beer in 2020 are as follows:

1. China - 1.9 million dollars, 1,885 tons;

2. Israel - $ 1.0 million, 865 tons;

3. Russia - 767 thousand dollars, 1,086.1 tons;

4. Malta - 344.2 thousand dollars, 263.4 tons;

5. Azerbaijan - 324.1 thousand dollars, 340.3 tons;

6. Armenia - 170.3 thousand dollars, 343.5 tons;

7. Moldova - 104.4 thousand dollars, 258 tons;

8. Latvia - 93.9 thousand dollars, 69.9 tons;

9. Poland - 80.6 thousand dollars, 86.4 tons;

10. Estonia - 45.9 thousand dollars, 141.5 tons.
