August-November Incomes from Persimmon Exports Mark $4.8 million
In August-November 2020, Georgia exported 9,088 tons of persimmons to foreign markets, the Agriculture Ministry reports.
The export value constituted $4.8 million. The exports volume recorded an annual 27% upturn, while the exports value rose by an annual 31%. As for the export prices, the figure rose by 3% year on year. In the reporting period, Georgia exported persimmons to 9 markets: Russian Federation (4,004 tons), Ukraine (2,391 tons), Armenia (2,009 tons), as well as to Belarus, Qatar, Moldova, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, and Hungary.
