Agricultural Markets of Zugdudi and Poti Close

As governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, Aleksandre Motserelia declared, agricultural markets of Zugdidi and Poti will be closed.

According to him, despite the fact, that police, volunteers and department of supervision are mobilized, state has unmanaged situation, since the citizens don't maintain social distancing. This is the reason why the agricultural markets will be closed.

"I was in Poti, Senaki and now I am in Zugdidi. We have an unfortunate reality. In spite of Paata Imnadze's announcement, which we all listened to, the amount of people in the streets has increased. We also see, that the amount of automobiles is expanded too. The circumstances which occurred in Zugdidi's agricultural market, regardless of police and municipality mobilizing, are absolutely unacceptable and impossible to imagine. I apologize to the entrepreneurs, who are factually damaged today because of others' irresponsibility.

Together with the Zugdidi agricultural market, we also close the market of Poti. We prohibited also foreign trading. Those who'll break the law will be fined. No one is glad to write the fines of 3000 Lari, but I state this again, that police will be operating without any compromises because of health interests of our citizens.", declared the governor.
