AFD and EU to Alocate 65 Million Euros for the Modernization of the Khashuri Water System

The French Development Agency (AFD) and the European Union will allocate 65 million euros for the modernization of Khashuri water systems.

Under the agreement, the French Development Agency will provide a loan of 58 million euros to finance the restoration of water supply and sewerage systems in Khashuri. The EU will provide an additional grant of 7 million euros.

As a result of the project, more than 40,000 people will be provided with uninterrupted water supply and sewerage services. The project will also help improve the water quality of the Mtkvari River.
