Vice-Prime Minister Maya Tskitishvili Met Regional Director of EIB

Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Maya Tskitishvili met Regional Director of European Investment Bank, Flavia Palanza in the course of Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.

At the working meeting, the parties have discussed the matters of strengthening the collaboration and progress of projects funded by European Investment Bank. They also took notice of the vital importance of EIB support in the field of Georgia's infrastructure development and considered future plans.

Tbilisi is hosting the 3rd edition of "Silk Road Forum" organized by the Georgian government. It gathers nearly 2000 delegates from 60 different countries. The forum aims to strengthen cultural, political, economic relations between Europe and Asia. On the event, international organizations and representatives of private sectors discuss the matters of perspectives of deepening collaboration between each other.
