The U.S Contributes 1000 Tests of Coronavirus to Georgia
The United States of America supports Georgia in its response to Coronavirus outbreak and contributed 1000 fast tests for detecting COVID-19 to the country.

Speaking from home, Ambassador Kelly Degnan described the ways in which the United States has supported Georgia in its ongoing response to the COVID-19 crisis. She spoke about the more than $140 million dollars the American people had given Georgia to help build a "capable, resilient, professional national healthcare system." She also highlighted the recent announcement of an additional $1.1 million in new emergency health assistance from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). 'This assistance is carefully designed to complement the important work being done by the Georgian government and citizens, healthcare professionals and other donors.
