Tbilisi City Assembly Grants Geographic Object with Name of Giya Kancheli
Tbilisi City Assembly has the initiative to grant one of geographical objects with the name of Gia Kancheli.
Choosing the location and naming procedures Denomination and Symbols Commission will carry out considering opinions of family of Giya Kancheli and interested citizens.
Georgian composer Gia Kancheli passed away at the age of 84 on October 2nd.
