Rustaveli 850 to Publish Unique English-Based The Man in the Panther's Skin
Recently, an English-based publication's presentation was held in the Bank of Georgia.
Its uniqueness is that the book unites translation originating from Marjory Wardrop and illustrations from Tsereteli characteristics. This is the translation, which was published by brother of Marjory, Oliver Wardrop in 1912. Above-mentioned illustrations are separate treasures of Georgia, which have a long-standing history.
The author of English-based publication is "Rustaveli 850". The book was published within the UK Season Program supported by Bank of Georgia.
At the event, speakers discussed the matter of relevance of Rustaveli and The Man in the Panther's Skin in Georgia. It is also worth mentioning, that Justin McKenzie was attending the meeting.
