Recreational Zones on Gldani Lake and Varketili Gorge - Two New Projects from Tbilisi City Hall

As the Mayor of Tbilisi declared, recreational zones will be applied to Gldani Lake and Varketili Gorge. Currently, the team works on the concept, of how Gldani Lake can be developed, which will be the recreational space for people of all ages.

The area of the Varketili gorge is about 3 hectares and this place, according to Kaladze, should be divided into active and passive recreation areas after the arrangement of the park.

Kakha Kaladze also noted, that the first stage of the design work has already been completed. The project will start to be implemented in a month.

2 000 0000 GEL will be spent from the budget of the state to arrange recreational spaces in Gldani and Varketili.
