Prime Minister: We May Make it Mandatory to Wear a Face Mask Outdoors
Wearing a face mask may also become mandatory in open spaces in Georgia.
"I declare with full responsibility that the freedom of gathering, demonstration or expression is not threatened in the epidemiological context, but we may decide to make it mandatory to wear a face mask, both indoors and outdoors," said Giorgi Gakharia.
The Prime Minister responded to the crowded demonstrations of the opposition parties with his own statement. However, as Giorgi Gakharia said, the introduction of the need to wear face masks outdoors requires legislative changes, which will not happen in one or two days.
