Modern Art Center of Brussels to Host Georgian Film Retrospective
The film screenings are held on January 22-26 in the Modern Art Center of Brussels.
The event is planned within the festival "Bridges. East of West Film Days".
Georgian films will be presented in Brussels with the following program:
- January 23th - Dimitri Mamulia, "The Critical Man";
- January 23th - Georgian Short Films Program: "Father" by Davit Pirtskhalava, "Leta" by Dea Kulumbegashvili, "Mamuli" by Giorgi Sikharulidze, and "Animal" by Amiran Dolidze;
- January 25th - Documentary film "Tunnel" by Nino Orjonikidze and Vano Arsenishvili;
- January 25th - "Negative Numbers" by Uta Beria;
- January 26th - "Shindisi" by Dimitri Tsintsadze.
Apart from screening the films, industrial meetings will be held in Brussels, where young film directors such as Elene Mikaberidze and Giorgi Sikharulidze will present the project of their first full-length film.
Except for Georgia, participants of the festival are cinematographers from Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Belarus.
