Malls, Markets and Restaurants with Outdoor Space Open from Today

According to the decision of the government of Georgia, malls, markets, and open-air restaurants will be functioning from today.

The restaurants and hotels which have an indoor space will be opened on June 8th.

The Ministry of Health has developed recommendations for restaurants, malls, hotels, and markets.

The general recommendations are as follows:

• For preventing the coronavirus from spreading, customers should use a pre-booking system;
• The place for guests is pre-determined (by marking the floor and keeping the distance);
• Daily video screening and thermal screening of employees and customers are recommended;
• Ensuring that at least 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer or other disinfectant solution with the same effect is available in the workplace which is required for periodic hand disinfection;
• Customers should give preference to cashless payments;
• Placing more than 6 customers on one table is prohibited.
