List of Restrictions Taking Effect from Today
Due to the epidemiological situation in Georgia and the rapid increase in the number of infected, the Interagency Coordination Council decided to impose additional point restrictions.
In particular, according to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council: from November 9, in big cities - Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori, Poti - from 22:00 to 05:00 movement is restricted, both on foot and by vehicle.
This restriction does not apply to the following areas: international freight; In agreement with the Operations Headquarters, persons and vehicles whose movement is critical to the performance of official duties, including representatives of medical and pharmaceutical, strategic and media facilities, and delivery service couriers; All organizations will work until 22:00, except for medical and pharmaceutical facilities and facilities of strategic importance.
Both municipal and private kindergartens will be temporarily closed in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori and Poti; Also, special measures will be taken in these cities to reduce the number of people in municipal transport. Transportation during the day will not be restricted.
It was noted at the board meeting that the imposition of additional point restrictions depends on the epidemiological situation and how the established rules and recommendations of epidemiologists will be observed, including wearing a face mask, keeping a distance, including during the political process.
