"I would like to put an emphasis on one important component, which is also part of the transport policy, and that is zonal-hour parking. We have already implemented projects in this direction. We named the pilot projects Kote Abkhazi Street and the area around Orbeliani Street, where the zonal-hour parking was introduced, and I want to tell you that this project was very successful and we want to carry out the next stages.
The following streets and districts need to be identified where zonal-hour parking planning will be implemented. The next stage will be Saburtalo district, specifically Pekini Avenue and the surrounding streets, where the zonal-hour system will be introduced. Therefore, starting from August 10, 10 information booths will be set up on Pekini Avenue so that the population has complete information, ”Kaladze said.
Zonal-hour parking on Pekini Avenue and surrounding streets will cost visitors GEL 1 per hour.
