Health Minister: We Have Prevented the Peak Phase and Managed to Control Virus Spread
We have prevented the virus peak in Georgia and managed to control its spread, Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze noted.
“This factor does not signify that the number of infected persons will not increase. We expect certain peak, however, at this stage, we can manage all patients in inpatient clinics. Today our mobilization suffices in quarantine zones”, Ekaterine Tikaradze noted.
As for the heath condition of medical staff after 5 doctors were infected in Bolnisi, the Health Minister noted:
“The majority of these cases were not recorded at job places and this should be stressed. Furthermore, our doctors are trained in proper use of personal things, while we tighten the protocol more and scrupulously examine all other gaps that have caused their infection. We do not lack doctors yet, because we have the resources to strategically refer doctors to due locations. Consequently, there is no deficit in the regions, where the mentioned doctors were infected”, the Health Minister noted.
