Georgian Wine and its Marketing Plan of Government
According to the statistics of the current year, export of Georgian wine is decreased. These matters are discussed by Davit Tkemaladze, chairman of National Agency of Wine in Business Partner on First Channel of Georgia.
As he supposes, at the beginning of the current year, decreasing the export of Georgian wine was provoked by the factor of China, but he is sure, that the field is strengthened and the year will be finished with the traditional increase.
"Similar result was brought up in the past year. The main part of decrease is related to China, since the market of China is one of the largest importers of Georgian wine. The bad start point is always determined by the problems in logistics or politics. The data shows, that from the third month, the base will be stabilized and we will finish the year with traditional increase.
As he declared, supporters of the wine field in Georgia suggest, that the exporting price of the wine is low. Tkemaladze noted, that the price is sufficient and in past years it increases by 20-25% euros and American cents.
"I suppose, that we will end this year with a traditional increase. Perhaps we have hard circumstances aroused by the virus, which provoked difficulties. Past year, reason for decreasing was problems related to politics and internal logistics. But I reckon that we must not complain. We are confident, that the field is straightened, so as to end this year with an increase.", declared Tkemaladze.
