Georgian Students to Create Chatbot of Innovator Niko Nikoladze
Georgian students will work on creating a chatbot of Niko Nikoladze. The large-scale hackathon will be organized by Ilia State University and the consulting company Gepra on February 19-21.
The winning student team in the hackathon will work on creating a digital language copy of Niko Nikoladze - a chatbot, which will be integrated on the website nikonikoladze.ge.
The hackathon is open to high school graduates (grades X-XII) and accredited high school students from all over the country.
"As a result of the hackathon, a digital linguistic copy of Niko Nikoladze, the greatest innovator and intellectual of the XIX-XX centuries, will be created - a chatbot, with which people will feel as if Niko himself is talking about his work and creativity. In addition to this important result, this project is a good opportunity for seniors and students to acquire new knowledge.
In January and February, Iliauni Cyber Laboratory Unilab and Animachetbotics mentors will give a number of lectures and workshops on the creation and development of chatbots, ”said Ana Kvanchilashvili, Head of Public Relations at Ilia State University.
The 4-day hackathon will be held in a remote format using a platform Zoom. No specific technical knowledge is required to participate in the hackathon.
"Creating a chatbot is often associated with programming knowledge and great difficulty for most people. In this hackathon and its communication campaign, we want to show everyone that anyone can learn this technique in a short time and become a narrator-designer, or chatbot writer," said Project Manager Mariam Gochiashvili.
