Georgian Drift Series 2021 Holds Presented by Socar Georgia Petroleum

Organized by BMW Club Georgia, the official opening ceremony of Georgian Drift Series 2021 will be held at Rustavi Metallurgical Plant on April 11th.

The presenter of the championship is Socar Georgia Petroleum. Together with the official opening ceremony, the event will be held on April 11 in the PRO class of the Georgian Drift Series.

Georgian Drift Series 2021 will be held in three stages. Mevlud Meladze and Nodar Kodua from the SOCAR team will participate in the championship. The winner, in addition to a solid prize fund, will get a chance to reach the final of the European Championship, which will be decided by the sum of the points of the first two stages.

Drift Series aims to attract car racing fans to safe areas and competitions and thus, reduce dangerous street racing.

Socar Georgia Petroleum has been involved in car racing development since 2018, and the purpose for engaging in such activities is to promote road safety.

It should also be mentioned that security is an integral part of "Five Standards of Responsibility", which includes the following areas: environmental protection, support for youth, safety, empowerment of women, support for people with disabilities, and the elderly ones.
