Georgian Animation IgI Participates in Cartoon Pitching

The animation "Igi" made by Natia Nikolashvili became a participant of the "Cartoon" pitching forum.

Cartoon is a non-profit international association headquartered in Brussels. The main goal of the organization is to support the animation film industry, Cartoon holds various events throughout the year. The work of the Georgian director became a participant of the pitching, which will be held in Bordeaux from March 9 to 11 this year.

This year's pitching will be held online. For two days, directors will have the opportunity to interact with executive producers and international distributors. Since its inception (1999), 396 films have received € 2.61 billion in funding thanks to Pitching.

The animation is based on the story of Georgian writer Jemal Karchkhadze. The author of the adapted script is Natia Nikolashvili herself, the film belongs to the production company 20 Steps.
