Flow of Passengers in Tbilisi Subway to be Controlled
Tbilisi City Hall, taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country, on the recommendation of epidemiologists and the Coordination Council, will carry out special events in the Tbilisi metro.
At the entrances of congested subway stations, during rush hour, passenger flow will be monitored through queue management to prevent the virus from spreading as much as possible.
At this stage, the mentioned events are planned to be implemented at Varketili, Akhmeteli Theater, Didube and Station Square metro stations.
Metro staff will constantly monitor the flow of passengers. When the flow is critical and poses a threat to the spread of the virus, people will be prevented from accessing the entrances to metro stations through queue management.
"We call on the population to take care of each other, take care of their own health and strictly follow the recommendations set by the Georgian government," the City Hall said.
