Finishing Rehabilitation of Zugdidi Botanical Garden is Planned in November

According to the information provided by Municipal Development Fund, rehabilitation of botanical garden of Zugdidi will be finished in November.

The project involves rehabilitation of buildings, arranging water supply, existed reservoirs and setting up trails.

On the territory of the garden, public washrooms will be built. The infrastructure of the botanical garden was damaged and it needed rehabilitation. Rehabilitation started in January 2018 and will be finished in November. The price of the project is 11 231 524 Gel and is financially supported by the World Bank.

The renewal of botanical garden will manage to assist development of tourism potential.
